Salary Band – $122,570 - $130 295 p.a pro rata + Kiwisaver

About the Role

 

The key purpose of this supervisor role is to provide overall co-ordination of workflow and resources in a treatment area, ensuring the provision of a high-quality service for the patients treated in the Dunedin Radiation Therapy department.  Working with the other treatment supervisors you will foster not only excellence in quality practice standards and professional conduct, but also collaboration across both the pre-treatment and treatment teams, and with the wider multidisciplinary oncology team. The expectation is that you will comprehensively manage your team within allocated resources of time and people by promoting efficiency, productivity and patient safety.

 

This role belongs to the APEX Radiation Therapists collective agreement (08 April 2024 - 07 April 2026) With the Designated C positions PayScale- Step 1 $122,570 to Enhanced Step C3- $130 295.

About you

 

To succeed in this role as a Treatment Supervisor – Radiation Therapist you will need to have:

 

  • Current registration with the MRTB and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused
  • Strong clinical and technical skills
