• Salary Band – $60,100 – 70,358 p.a. pro-rata + carpark

About the Role

As a Theatre Suite Assistant, you will be involved in:

• Supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team
• Patient handling and transfers
• Transporting specimens and blood
• Cleaning of department and communal facilities daily
• Restocking and setting up of equipment
• Answering phones, and much more!

You will be committed to high standards of practice, be well organised and have excellent communication skills. You will be a team player and able to work with a diverse range of people as part of our Perioperative team.

It is important that candidates are motivated, flexible, have a level of maturity about them and of course plenty of enthusiasm. Experience working with people in a caring capacity is also essential, whether than experience is gained from within a professional environment, or from caring for children or family members.  Our induction includes a two-day training programme to ensure you are fully equipped to under the role as a valuable part of the team.  You must have the right to work in New Zealand to apply for this position.
