Supply Chain, Dunedin Hospital

Salary between $74,090 and $77,200 per annum

 

  • Permanent, fulltime 1.0 FTE position (40 hours per week)

We are looking for an experienced Supply Officer to join our tight knit Supply Chain team.

 

Mō te tūranga | About the role

In your role as Supply Officer, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a reliable supply service to a range of wards and clinical services across Health New Zealand Southern. Key areas of focus will include (but are not limited to):

  • Support and maintain the supply imprest service across the organisation
  • Liaising with departments to requisition and order catalogue and non-catalogue supplies and services
  • Providing a comprehensive purchasing support function
  • Providing an effective delivery and receipting service for supplies, services and equipment.
  • Completing duties of the Supply Officer in line with Southern DHB policy around purchasing and supply

 

Hours of work will be 06:00 – 14:30, Monday to Friday.

  • Proficient skills in the Microsoft Office suite of applications particularly Word and Excel
  • The ability to pick up new computer systems and concepts quickly
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Confidence and the ability to work independently

We will provide you with full, on the job training - you won’t be thrown in at the deep end!

Utu whānui |Salary range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA South Island Clerical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 5 between Step 1 $74,090 and Step 3 $77,200 p.a. pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
