About the Role

This role will effectively contribute to the smooth running of the services by providing an effective and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service and organisation.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing timely and accurate confidential secretarial support for the Service Manager’s
  • Assisting with the processing of payroll, Time & Attendance, complaints and incidents, and development of reports and business plans.
  • Ensuring all task requests assigned to the Service Manager’s direct reports are completed on time.
  • Assisting with the orientation process of new permanent Senior Medical Officers and Locums as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of documentation and information
  • Along with providing general administration and support for the wider team.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised person with a strong ability to prioritise competing demands in an efficient manner.

 

You will have a friendly and welcoming nature and be comfortable interacting with patients both in person and on the phone. As an experienced administrator you will also be skilled at juggling multiple priorities and able to remain calm under pressure.

 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a busy administration role
  • High degree of knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite including advanced knowledge of word processing, excel, outlook, graphics and presentation packages
  • Excellent word processing and data entry skills, with a strong eye for detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible approach with the ability to successfully prioritise your workload
  • Respectful nature handling confidential, often sensitive information in a professional manner
