Support Renal Replacement Therapy (Dialysis) In the Southland region . Acute and Home Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis.

The unit’s focus is to provide in centre haemodialysis, support home haemodyalysis and peritoneal dialysis training.,

 

We aim to provide:

  • Best possible care for all our patients requiring renal replacement therapy,
  • Consistent care in line with our vision and values.
  • Promoting wellbeing, independence, and an optimal quality of life.
  • Total commitment towards Home Dialysis treatment for all chronic dialysis patients with on-going support for patients /family/whanau.

Mōu ake | About you

The successful candidates will join the Southland  Dialysis Unit team as part of the wider Southern Region Dialysis team based in Dunedin

  • Must have current registration with the  New Zealand and Australia Society of Renal Dialysis Practce Inc (NZASRDP) and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand.
  • Personable, highly flexible, and adaptable.
  • Able to work in a high output area,
  • Recent experience working in a dialysis unit is essential

Utu whānui |Salary range

This role belongs to the expired APEX Clinical Physiology Collective Agreement and falls between step 1 ($77,087 p.a) and Step 7 ($107,600 p.a prorata) of the Clinical Physiologists scale.
