Salary Band - $65,022-$84,153 + KiwiSaver + Car Parking

Mō te tūranga | About the role

Your role involves a very special blend of strength, compassion and cool headedness supporting maternity care, antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal.  Within the Core Midwifery environment no two days will be the same and you’ll be involved in the full scope of midwifery practice during your time here. We have a women-centered approach to our care and you will be making a real difference to the patient experience. This core midwife role would suit a Midwife who is team-focused and who enjoys getting involved in a variety of tasks to ensure the very best care is provided at all times.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Possess excellent assessment skills
  • Have a passion and focus for working with families/whanau
  • Enjoy providing postnatal care with compassion and kindness
  • Be an exceptional team player who has strong communication skills
  • Have previous experience in supporting mothers with breastfeeding
  • Be a Registered Midwife with a current APC for New Zealand

Utu whānui |Salary range

This role belongs to the DHBs/MERAS Collective Agreement and falls between the step 2 ($65,022 p.a) and Step 7 ($84,153 p.a) pro rata.
