  • Salary Band – Band 4A between $70,970 and $73,941 p.a pro rata

About the Role  

We are looking for an experienced administrator who learns quickly, retains information and is accurate in their work. Naturally you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a variety of people and problems, often all at the same time!  

 

This role will effectively contribute to the smooth running of the Radiology service by coordinating the clinical roster in conjunction with the Clinical Director, processing expenses claims and conference applications for the department and providing administrative support to the service. 

This is a fast-paced environment, and the experienced applicant will thrive in this frontline area of the hospital, demonstrating your ability to prioritise, follow procedures and solve problems accordingly

About you  

You must be an approachable team player, that has a welcoming nature, who possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and has a high attention to detail. Our ideal candidate needs to be able to prioritise and juggle tasks, within demanding timeframes. You will have at least four years administrative experience, ideally within the healthcare sector.  

You will be an experienced administrator who works well in a team environment with the ability to foster good interpersonal relationships

  • Ability to carry out administrative tasks and follow written instructions to a high standard 

  • Is adaptable and flexible – open to change Evaluates situations and identifies existing problems or opportunities. Proactively seeks solutions to problems 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation. 

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with a variety of people. 

  • High degree of knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite including advanced knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, email, calendar, graphics, presentation packages 

  • Knowledge of Adobe Pro/ ability to edit written document, correcting grammatical mistakes and logic
