About the Role

 

  • Work autonomously and as part of a team, manage, and prioritise a patient caseload, and is keen to develop on-going advanced skills. 
  • Lead and develop quality services in collaboration with others while working alongside a committed inter-professional team of health professionals.
  • Provide regular in-services, senior staff mentoring and peer review, a comprehensive on-call competency training framework and access to course and conference funding. 

We take pride in supporting our staff to grow as clinicians, so we run a well-developed on-going support and professional development programme. 

 

This role belongs to the PSA Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 3 ($88,627 p.a) and Step 8 ($110,210 p.a pro rata) of the Degree-based Allied, Public Health and Technical Salary scale.

About you

 

As an experienced and senior clinician, you will have at least 3-5 years’ experience.

 

To be successful in this position, you will also need to demonstrate the following:

 

  • Strong organisational, time-management and clinical priority-setting skills.
  • Resourceful and resilient; able to apply critical thinking to solve complex problems.
  • Be registered with the Physiotherapy Board of NZ and hold a current annual practicing certificate.
  • Proven supervision, mentoring, coaching and clinical leadership skills.

Exceptional team-player with the ability to work collaboratively across a wider multi-disciplinary team.
