Salary Band – $82,045- $109,000 p.a pro rata
- Two fixed-term, parental leave cover roles available (hours open to negotiation):
- 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE) until November 2024
- 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE) until October 2024

This position involves working in either the inpatient or outpatient setting with a range of age groups at Southland Hospital. This role requires the ability to work effectively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment. An understanding of optimising patient outcomes is essential.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
Assess and treat patients with physical conditions, injuries, or disabilities, utilising therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall functional abilities within the hospital setting.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and contribute to patients' overall well-being.
Develop with senior mentors in either Dunedin or Invercargill.

- Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and holding a current APC.

Utu whānui |Salary range
This role aligns with the PSA/DHBs Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 3 ($82,045 p.a) and Step 10 ($109,000 p.a pro rata) of the Degree-Based Allied, Public Health and Technical scale.
