Are you looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our friendly team in Southland Hospital on a full-time, permanent basis.

We are a community-orientated hospital (not too big and not too small) providing a full range of secondary care services including general dispensary pharmacy, drug information and advice, education and counselling, and extemporaneous manufacture. Mōu ake | About you
We are looking for someone who is a natural working with and as part of a team, someone who has excellent time management skills and a very high standard of ethical and professional practice. You will be a great communicator in both verbal and written language adapting to the needs of the audience. A calm, mature approach is also essential as is having the ability to adapt to an ever-changing health environment.
Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred but not absolutely essential as we may be able to offer full orientation to hospital pharmacy practice for the right candidate.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Registration or eligibility to register as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand under the provisions of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003
- The right to work in New Zealand.

Utu whānui | Salary range
This role belongs to the APEX / SDHB SECA and falls between the Step 3 ($62,671 p.a) and Step 9 ($82,299 p.a pro-rata)
