Mō te tūranga | About the role
We are looking for an Ophthalmic Photographer to join the Ophthalmology Outpatient Department here at Southland Hospital on a permanent part-time basis.
The primary responsibility of the position is to provide photographic and technical support, as well as associated administrative services for the Ophthalmology Department.

To be successful in this role you will: -
- Have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Be open to new ways of working to provide patients with the most efficient and effective service.
- Hold a Level 4 certificate in Digital Photography (or higher) or be working towards this.
- Some experience within an ophthalmic field would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Be flexible in your availability as some occasional weekend work may be required

Utu whānui | Salary range
This role belongs to the DHB/PSA Allied, Public Health, Scientific & Technical Collective Agreement and falls between Steps 1 ($63,842 p.a. pro-rata) and Step 5 ($76,737 p.a. pro-rata) of the Non-Degree Technical Scale.
