Mō te tūranga | About the role

 

We have an opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join us on a fixed-term, part-time basis.

You will be involved in:

 

  • Providing recovery focused group programmes for adults with a wide range of moderate to severe mental health issues, living within the community.
  • Providing quality care with responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Supporting a diverse range of clients in the overarching goal of increasing psychological flexibility.

 

Community Day Programmes provides three main streams of treatment, based on identified need.

Mōu ake | About you

 

  • Registered healthcare professional with previous mental health experience, preferably with recent acute or community based mental health experience.
  • Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
  • Display well-developed communication skills, as well as proven group planning and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Dynamic, innovative and motivated to provide high standards of care.

Utu whānui |Salary range

 

This role belongs to the PSA/DHBs Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($59,035 p.a) and Step 8 ($85,992 p.a pro rata) of the Allied, Public Health and Technical scale.
