- Southland Hospital, Permanent 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
- Salary Band – $75,773 to $106,739 p.a

About the Role
Mental Health Professional – Invercargill Community Mental Health Team will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Peer Support Workers, to manage a broad-based generic caseload, utilising your mental health experience.
This role provides good resources and the opportunity to work and develop professionally within a progressive and friendly team that is well supported by management.
Successful candidate will:
- Commit to the MDT approach with a focus on excellent service delivery
- Manage cases across the adult age range, assessing, maintaining and managing clinical risk,
- Build relationships with consumers, family/whanau and support agencies.

About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a registered health professional including Registered Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist, with current APC
- Have proven community and / or recent mental health experience.
- Hold a strong sense of ‘self’, a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a commitment to working cohesively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to best practice standards and your model of practice will be inclusive of the seven Real Skills of Let’s get real (www.tepou.co.nz)
- Hold a full NZ drivers’ licence.
