Healthcare Assistant – Ward 3 Surgical

Ward 3 Surgical are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join their multidisciplinary team on a part time basis to provide much needed support in a busy yet rewarding work environment.

In this important role you’ll help with a range of direct and non-direct patient care tasks under the direction of a registered nurse and maintain the ward environment to ensure efficient and effective functioning including:


  • Assist with patient care
  • Restocking and setting up of equipment
  • General ward housekeeping
  • Hours of work are Monday to Sunday rostered shifts.

As an integral part of our health care team, you must be able to take direction from a variety of staff.  Experience working with people in the health sector and/or experience or knowledge of customer service is desirable.  Being computer literate is preferred, and full training of our systems will be given.
