Health Care Assistant - General Surgical / Urology Ward 

Salary Band – $60,000 - $70,000 p.a prorata + Kiwisaver

• 0.8 FTE /  64 hours per fortnight

About the role

In this important role you will help with a range of direct and non-direct patient care tasks under the direction of a registered nurse and maintain the department environment to ensure efficient and effective functioning including:

• Patient watch/ supervision and/or movement with one-on-one care
• Restocking and setting up of equipment
• General department housekeeping
• Supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team
• Clerical duties as required,
• Stock reconciliation
• Please note: this role does not qualify for visa sponsorship.

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the Health Care Assistant Pay Scale, between step 1 $60,100 and step 5 $70,358 p.a pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
