  • Two grounds roles maintaining the grounds of our beautiful Southland Hospital

Mō te tūranga | About the role

Our works team is made up of carpenters, joiners, painters, and grounds staff, the people who keep the hospital running, and keep it looking good - Keeping it warm, safe, and compliant.


You’ll be responsible for maintaining the hospital grounds, mowing the grass, looking after the plantings, keeping the tracks and paths clear, everything involved in keeping our beautiful hospital grounds looking great!


Mōu ake | About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • National Certificate in Horticulture or similar
  • GrowSafe Certificate
  • At least two years experience in a commercial grounds maintenance role
  • Most importantly, you will have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude

Utu whānui |Salary range

This role belongs to the AWUNZ Collective Agreement for maintenance trades roles and falls between the step 1 ($54,000 p.a) and Step 5 ($65,500 p.a)
