- Permanent, part time role (0.5 FTE 20 hours per week)

About the Role
We are a team focused on reducing patient harm, improving patient and whānau experience and outcomes, and fostering continuous improvement within the Southern region. We are a small team that have an active role in driving transformation across the organisation. We encourage teamwork, collaboration and staff motivation to achieve the end goal of better health, better lives, Whānau Ora.
Your role as Feedback Administrator will work closely within the team and wider organisation to ensure effective management of consumer feedback and adherence to required regulations (including timelines).
Some key areas of focus of your role will be (but are not limited to):
- Providing high quality, confidential administrative support to the service
- Efficient and effective management of responses to any concerns or complaints raised by consumers
- Maintaining accurate electronic systems and procedures
- Building positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
About the Team/Service/ Location
Health New Zealand I Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities. About you
- We are looking for someone with a strong customer service approach and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure positive outcomes. Our ideal candidate will bring:
- A clear and positive communication style
- At least 2 years’ experience within an administrative role
- Excellent computer skills, particularly within the Microsoft Office suite
- A professional approach with strong ethics and the ability to work in a sensitive and confidential manner
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the Te Pūkenga Here Tikanga Mahi Public Service Association (PSA) National Health Administration Workers Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 4A between Step 1 ($70,970) and Step 3 ($73,941) p.a. pro-rata.
