Based at Southland Hospital, our Outpatients Department is offering a fantastic opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to help them continue to meet the needs of our community at the highest possible standard of care on a Fixed Term basis, covering parental leave until July 2025.

While our clinics are generally held during the day, Monday to Friday, there are occasions where evening clinics are required, and you may be rostered on to attend these clinics as part of your duties.

To be successful in this very busy role you will need to demonstrate resilience, won’t mind putting in some hard work and be open and willing to up-skill as required. You’ll also be a confident communicator with a friendly demeanour and someone who values patient centred care. In return you’ll gain great work experience in a multidisciplinary team and the opportunity to develop your skills in a variety of surgical specialties.
Applicants must be registered as an Enrolled Nurse under the HPCA Act 2003 and have a current Practising Certificate.

Utu whānui |Salary range
This role belongs to the DHB/NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($69,934 p.a. pro-rata) and Step 5 ($83,349 p.a. pro-rata) of the Enrolled Nurse Salary Scale.
