About the Role

  • Assist clients and their whānau,
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists and social workers
  • Understand interventions and rehabilitation plans to help older people and people with complex disabilities to regain independence and help them stay in their own homes for longer.
  • The focus is on rehabilitation and working towards the patient’s goals, whilst working closely with the families of the patients.

About You

  • New Zealand Enrolled Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate.
  • Nursing experience that includes working with stroke, orthopaedic, frail elderly and other neurological conditions.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of optimising patient outcomes,
  • Facilitate in effective rehabilitation,
  • A patient centred and evidence-based approach,

Salary range

This role belongs to the expired NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between step 1 ($69,934 p.a) and Step 5 ($83,349 p.a pro rata) of the EN scale.
