Salary Band C – $127,338 - $194,820 + Kiwisaver (pro rata)

About the Role
- In addition to experiencing ear, nose and throat conditions and their management, there is the opportunity, through our high volume of head and neck skin cancer work, to become familiar with common modes of reconstruction, including local flaps and skin grafts.
- Providing a good background in ENT - essential if you are considering applying for a position on the Surgical Training Scheme in ORLHNS.
- A range of teaching and research opportunities for those interested through the close association of the service with the University of Otago’s Dunedin School of Medicine.
This role belongs to the New Zealand Resident Doctors’ Association and Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) Collective Agreement and Specialty Trainees of New Zealand (STONZ) and Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) Collective Agreement

- You’ll be part of a team led by six ORL Consultants and covering all major subspecialty areas.

About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council’s website at www.mcnz.org.nz
- A minimum of 2 years post qualification and possess a strong interest in ENT.
It is requirement of the Medical Council of New Zealand that your qualifications are approved through EPIC. If you have a commitment to working in New Zealand, it is highly recommended that you start this process as soon as possible to allow your subsequent registration to be undertaken in a timely fashion.
