Salary Band –$86,045 to $104,466 p.a. pro rata + Kiwisaver

 

  • Permanent, part-time (0.5FTE, 20 hours per week)

Mō te tūranga | About the role

  • Care for patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings,
  • Respond to patients needs including enteral, parenteral, or oral nutrition support (or a combination of these), 
  • Provide optimal nutritional advice to the multi-professional team,
  • Conduct clinics and follow-ups via Telehealth (Microsoft Teams),
  • Guide and advise on nutritional interventions for a vareity of adult and paediatric conditions.

 

Mōu ake | About you

  • Clinical experience and up-to-date knowledge across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • A working knowledge of dietetic intervention techniques, including patient centred goal planning, malnutrition diagnosis and interventions, and acute caseload management.
  • Registered dietitian with the New Zealand Dietitians Board with a current annual practicing certificate.
  • Hold an endorsed prescriber scope of practice.
  • Evidence/Best practice focused in service delivery.

Utu whānui |Salary range
This role belongs to the DHBs PSA Allied Public Health + Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the Allied, Scientific and Technical Pay Equity Settlement Agreement, New Clinical/Degree qualified core salary scale between Step 3 ($86,045 p.a. pro rata) and Step 7 ($104,466 p.a. pro rata).
