About the Role

As a Mental Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting our nurses and other members of the health care team
  • Patient movement
  • Patient cares, as required
  • Stock reconciliation
  • Ward maintenance
  • Patient watch/supervision, with one-on-one care as required

About you

As a Mental Health Assistant you’ll need to have a positive attitude and good communication skills, be able to take direction and work well as part of the team.

Applicants should also note that a full driver’s licence is a requirement for this position.
