Our Allied Health Unit based at Wakari Hospital has a rare opportunity for a motivated individual to join their Short-Term Loan Equipment Services Team.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
Working closely with other departments throughout the hospital, duties for this role will include:
- Issuing short term loan equipment (i.e. wheelchairs, mobility equipment, bathroom equipment etc.) primarily for use in the community
- Undertaking or arranging for the delivery and installation of specific equipment and collection as required
- Ensuring short term loan equipment is cleaned and maintained to an acceptable standard
- Maintaining equipment inventories and systems for replacement
- Contributing as a valued member of the Allied Health team
Mōu ake | About you
To be successful in this role you will be a team player with the ability to manage their workload and prioritise effectively. You will have exceptional organisational skills, with an eye for detail that will see you maintain data and records accurately and efficiently. Previous experience within a hospital environment, or the assembly and maintenance of small equipment will be highly desirable.
It is essential that applicants hold a full, clean NZ Drivers license, and have proven computer literacy.

Utu whānui |Salary range
This role belongs to the Allied, Public Health, Scientific & Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement Core Scale Group B and falls between Step 3 ($72,074 p.a) and Step 7 ($86,719 p.a) pro rata.
