About the role
The Occupational Therapy team in Ward 11 provide rehabilitation to inpatients in their preparation of transitioning to alternative community options that support their occupational needs. It is expected that you will assist the ward Occupational Therapist with the facilitation and delivery of the occupational therapy process, for consumers admitted to the unit. This takes place in both group and individual settings.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Ward 11 Occupational Therapist with the transition and rehabilitation of patients to more independent community living.
- Support patient care, rehabilitation, and discharge planning initiatives.
- Contribute to tasks within the acute inpatient wards and outpatient settings.

- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Clear understanding and demonstration of boundaries concerning privacy.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively with clients in a dynamic health environment.
