About the role
- Collaborate in our dynamic and evolving interdisciplinary team within the services covering Older People’s Health Rehabilitation Services based at Dunedin Hospital.
- Work alongside other senior nurses, and wider team members in planning and providing rehabilitation to our patients.
- Develop your knowledge and expertise in rehabilitation with medical, orthopaedic and neurological conditions including stroke.
- Support, teach and upskill students and rotational staff.
- Care for patients with stroke, orthopaedic, frail elderly and other neurological conditions
- Optimising patient outcomes and facilitating effective rehabilitation using a patient centred and evidence based approach to goal setting and intervention.

- Be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate

Salary range
This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between the step 2 ($81,683 p.a) and Step 7 ($106,739 p.a prorata) of the RN scale
