Salary Band – $82,000-$89,000 p.a pro rata + Kiwisaver

Mō te tūranga | About the role

Our electrical team are the people that keep the hospital running, keeping it warm, safe, and compliant.

 

You’ll be responsible for reviewing all electrical work requests, assigning the work to either yourself, the in-house electrical team, or external electrical contractors. You’ll also carry out various aspects of electrical maintenance, including maintaining critical life-saving equipment, as well as supporting energy reduction projects as we move towards a carbon zero future.

Mōu ake | About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Current electrical registration and practicing license
  • Experience as an electrician in a commercial environment
  • Previous supervisory experience would be a plus, but isn’t a deal breaker
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be a big help
  • Most importantly, a positive can-do attitude

Utu whānui |Salary range

This role belongs to the AWUNZ Collective Agreement for maintenance trades roles and falls between Step 1 ($82,000 p.a) and Step 3 ($89,000 p.a). Please note effective 1 July 2023 the salary range will increase to the following: Step 1, $84,460 and Step 3, $91,670.
