Salary Band $70,970 - $73,941

About the Role

Located across Dunedin and Wakari Hospital, this position carries a varied workload, working to strict deadlines. The main objective is to provide essential support for the Service Managers of the Rehabilitation Services, by providing an efficient and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service/organisation.

 

Day to day responsibilities include, managing diaries, booking meetings and travel, organising agendas, coordinating and processing reports, and compiling statistics, financial reports and tabling using Excel plus general administration and support for the other Service Administrator and wider team.

 

Your extensive contact with the service will involve the coordination of information for reports, collating and ensuring timely delivery of such by the team. You will support the wider team with timekeeping and covering other administrative functions within the service when required.

About you

To be successful in this role, you must be a team player with very good communication skills. You must also be comfortable interacting with a variety of people and attending to issues that arise – usually at the same time!

 

Our ideal candidate will also have:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • High degree of knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite including advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, calendar, graphics, presentation packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
  • Knowledge or experience within the health and disability sector is desirable
