Registered Nurse - Lakes District

Salary Band – $68,000 - $80,000 p.a. pro-rata + Kiwisaver

Mō te tūranga | About the role

You will be responsible for providing a high standard of nursing care to all patients, using knowledge-based practise and a holistic nursing approach, in accordance with quality and legislative requirements.  You will also be part of an on-call roster to assist with transfers.

 

Mōu ake | About you

The successful applicants must have the ability to initiate and accept responsibility, work autonomously where appropriate or necessary and have the ability to function well in a multidisciplinary team.

We’re looking for registered nurses with preferably 3 years or greater post grad experience, you will also have:

  • A current New Zealand Registration and APC.
  • Previous Emergency Department experience.
  • Excellent assessment skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly develop a rapport with patients and their whanau/family.

Utu whānui |Salary range

This role belongs to the DHB/NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between the step 3 ($67,938 p.a. pro-rata) and Step 7 ($83,186 p.a. pro-rata)
