Mō te tūranga | About the role
We are looking for someone who has outstanding skills in systems and processes that can provide clinical administration support the Patient Safety and Clinical Intelligence Teams.
The Patient Safety and Clinical Intelligence Teams key functions include management of systems and processes that support Adverse Event reviews and Safety1st system. The Patient Safety team also undertakes project work, and data collection for the Health Quality and Safety Commissions quality safety markers.
This position is 0.7FTE, based on the Southland site, but covering processes across Te Whatu Ora- Southern. It is an integral role to the team to develop, support and manage these activities.

Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
- Excellence in computing skills including Office, Teams, Excel, SharePoint
- Excellent communication/ customer service skills
- Excellent teamwork/ collaboration skills
- Ability to be adaptive and flexible with an excellent aptitude for problem solving.
Utu whānui |Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA South Island Clerical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 4 between $64,903 to $67,787 pa pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
