Inpatient Orthopaedic Physiotherapist

Dunedin

 

  • Role suited to experienced physiotherapist.
  • Part-time 16hours/ week
  • Fixed term until 08.04.2022

 

About you

We have an opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist with a strong clinical background in orthopaedic care to join our inpatient Allied Health team.

If you are a motivated enthusiastic team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, then this is the opportunity to join the acute inpatient team. You will be proficient at managing and prioritising caseload within the inpatient setting and show dedication to developing your own skills while supporting the growth of rotational staff students, and Allied Health Assistants.

You will have the drive to develop quality services in collaboration with others while working alongside a committed inter-professional team of health professionals. Experience in task delegation and interprofessional skill sharing is desirable.

We take pride in supporting our staff to grow and we enable ongoing professional development including regular team in-services, staff mentoring and peer review, a comprehensive on-call competency-training framework, and access to course and conference funding.  Our team run simulation-training sessions to enhance education for our staff and students, and we work closely with the University of Otago’s School of Physiotherapy supporting student education throughout clinical placements.
