District Nurse - Lumsden

Registered Nurse – District Nursing


Salary Band – $67,398 - $88,757 p.a. pro-rata + Kiwisaver


  • Permanent position (0.4FTE – 32 hours per fortnight)
  • Lumsden and surrounding areas



Mō te tūranga | About the role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Lumsden and surrounding districts.  You will provide holistic nursing care and support care to a variety of clients in Lumsden and surrounds, ranging from terminal care and post discharge follow-up.



Mōu ake | About you

You must be registered in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 as a Registered Nurse and possess a current Practising Certificate and hold a full clean driver licence.  It is essential that applicants have had varied post basic nursing experience of 3-5 years including acute clinical, surgical and medical nursing.


To be successful in this role you will have the ability to communicate effectively, be self-motivated and tactful with a caring attitude, be able to cope in stressful situations and work as part of a team.

This role belongs to the DHB/NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Community Nurse Step 3 ($67,938 p.a. pro-rata) and Step 8 ($88,757 p.a. pro-rata)
