Booking Administrator - Allied Health Unit

  • 0.7 FTE (28 hours per week)


About the opportunity

We have a part-time fixed term position available in Allied health Unit. This position will be based with Physiotherapy Outpatient Team, but you may be required to work across Allied Health Unit or increase hours as required. This role is pivotal in ensuring that services are offering patient centred customer care. The hours of this position will be:

Tuesdays 8:30am to 5:00pm

Wednesdays 8:30am to 4:30pm

Thursdays 8:30am to 4:00pm

Fridays 10:30am to 4:30pm


Your daily support will involve entering patient referral information onto the iPM patient management system, booking appointments, managing a waiting list, ensuring that all clinical documents are uploaded onto the Otago Health Connect South system to ensure patient information is available to all clinical staff.


About you

You will have a clear and transparent communication style, be a highly motivated, enthusiastic booking administrator who is willing to take on this busy role.  This role will provide the opportunity for you to demonstrate exceptional administration skills and the ability to work autonomously and as an integral part of a wider administration team. You will need to be adept at using your initiative, be IT savvy, well organised to ensure tasks and deadlines are met.

The salary for this position is currently between $52,080 and $59,759 pro-rata per annum and will be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
