About the Team

Working from the Queenstown base in Frankton in the heart of beautiful Central Otago, Southern's Child and Family Mental Health Service (CAFMHS) in Central Lakes provide support and treatment for children (0-18 years) experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues, including support to family.

About the Role

This position will see you managing a limited caseload, providing assessment, treatment and co-working to facilitate the best outcome for children and family.  You will enjoy working collaboratively alongside other experienced clinical staff to promote healthy family systems and be able to form sound links with external agencies.

 

A current, full driver’s licence is essential. 

 

About You

You will bring to this role flexibility and experience with a minimum of three years working in mental health with children and family within a multidisciplinary setting.  We provide good orientation to the position and will support your ongoing professional development needs. You’ll need to demonstrate effective clinical psychological assessment and intervention skills. It goes without saying you will be a strong communicator, who is flexible with excellent organisational and time management skills.

 

To be considered you must be a Registered Clinical Psychologist.

Utu whānui | Salary range

 

This role belongs to the Allied, Public Health, Scientific, and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement (Expires June 2023) and falls between Step 1 ($77,478 p.a) and Step 10 ($111,719 p.a).
